Nio and Jiyue revealed a partnership agreement on Wednesday to connect their charging networks. Under this collaboration, Jiyue, the brand jointly created by Geely Group and Baidu, will gradually integrate into Nio’s open charging station network throughout China.

Jiyue, formerly known as Jidu, will access Nio‘s 3,747 charging stations across 312 cities in China, totaling 21,800 charging piles. According to the company, only 20% of the usage originates from its drivers, with the remaining 80% attributed to customers from other new energy vehicle brands.

“Jiyue’s charging system is getting richer and richer. Car owners are welcome to experience it! We and Nio are also “complementary”!” — the brand said on Weibo. Besides its charging network, Nio has — as of today — 2,397 battery swap stations in China and 42 throughout its 5 European markets.

Nio announced Monday the delivery of 11,866 vehicles in March 2024, marking a 14.3% increase compared to the previous year. Of the deliveries, 6,737 were SUVs and 5,129 were sedans.
