Lucid Registers Six EVs Across Netherlands and Norway in September

Lucid registered six vehicles in the Netherlands and Norway combined in September, all of them Gravity SUVs, as its Air sedan recorded no new registrations in either market.

That was double the three registrations Lucid recorded in the two countries a year earlier.

The Netherlands, home to Lucid’s European headquarters, accounted for four Gravity SUVs, according to BOVAG data.

Norway added two Gravity SUVs, according to Elbilstatistikk, which tracks Norwegian EV registrations, ending two straight months without a new Lucid registration there.

Germany, Lucid’s largest European market, will be reported when the Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) publishes September data in the coming days.

The September registrations came in the final month of quarter-end campaigns in both countries, which offered charging credit on the Air and discounted financing, with orders and deliveries required by September 30.

Registrations include test drive, showroom and press vehicles and do not correspond directly to customer deliveries.

Netherlands: Gravity Only

Lucid’s four Dutch registrations in September compare with three a year earlier and three in August.

All four were Gravity SUVs, and the Air registered none.

Vehicle data from the Dutch road authority RDW show three new Gravity registrations up to September 28, on September 16, 18 and 25, the latest date available in its open dataset.

In the first nine months, Lucid registered 39 vehicles in the Netherlands, up 5.4% from 37 a year earlier.

Third-quarter registrations rose to 11 from nine. The mix has shifted to the SUV, which had not yet reached European customers a year ago.

Lucid registered 32 vehicles in the Netherlands in the first seven months of 2026, 24 Gravity SUVs and eight Air sedans, according to BOVAG.

Norway: Back on the Board

Lucid’s two September registrations in Norway compare with none a year earlier.

They were its only ones in the third quarter, with July and August at zero, against 15 in the third quarter of 2025, when Lucid registered 11 in July and four in August.

In the first nine months, Lucid registered eight vehicles in Norway, down 55.6% from 18 a year earlier.

Lucid has registered 40 vehicles in Norway since entering the market, 33 Air sedans and seven Gravity SUVs, including four Air sedans brought in as parallel imports, Elbilstatistikk data show.

Germany

Lucid registered 26 vehicles in Germany in August, up 52.9% from 17 a year earlier, KBA data show.

That lifted its German total for the first eight months to 140, up 2.9% from 136.

In September 2025, Lucid registered five vehicles in Germany, according to KBA.

Dutch Offers

Lucid’s Dutch website was still advertising offers on Thursday that its terms say ran until September 30.

The Air carried a headline of up to three years of charging, which the terms define as a fixed €4,000 ($4,500) credit with Octopus Electroverse.

The three-year figure is Lucid’s estimate based on 15,000 kilometres a year and an average public charging price of €0.55 per kilowatt-hour.

The credit applied only to available model-year 2026 and demonstrator vehicles while stocks lasted, required order and delivery by September 30, and could not be combined with other offers.

The page also listed operational leases through Drivalia Lease Nederland from €1,249 ($1,400) a month excluding VAT for the Air Pure and from €1,449 ($1,600) for the Gravity Touring, over 60 months and 10,000 kilometres a year.

The Gravity Grand Touring Ultimate was offered from €2,099 ($2,400) a month.

Business customers were also offered financial leases at 4.49% interest through Lucid Financial Services, a brand used by CA Auto Finance Nederland, for terms of 18 to 60 months.

The Gravity carried no cash discount on the page.

Lucid’s Dutch referral programme, which gives a buyer €1,000 ($1,100) off and the referring owner €1,000, is described as active until October 1 and can be combined with other Lucid offers, according to its terms.

The Gravity starts at €97,900 ($110,500) in the Netherlands and the Air at €88,900 ($100,300), according to Lucid’s Dutch website.

Lucid cut the Gravity’s European entry price in August and expanded the range to four trims, with deliveries of the new versions due this autumn.

The company also named Munsterhuis Autobedrijven as its first Dutch retail partner in August, with a dedicated site in Hengelo, but has not disclosed an opening date.

Norway Offers Ended Too

In Norway, Lucid offered loans through Santander Consumer Bank at a campaign nominal rate of 4.95% for three years, after which a floating rate applies, with the offer valid until September 30, according to its Norwegian website.

The Gravity Touring is listed from 8,803 kroner ($900) a month, with a 1,049,900-kroner ($109,200) starting price.

The Air Pure starts at 1,009,000 kroner ($104,900), with loan payments from 8,445 kroner ($900) a month.

The Air also came with up to three years of charging, defined as a fixed 40,000-kroner ($4,200) Octopus Electroverse credit, on the same model-year 2026 and demonstrator stock and with the same September 30 order and delivery deadline.

Neither country’s page showed a replacement offer for October on Thursday afternoon local time.

On Wednesday, Lucid launched its Lucid Recharged certified pre-owned programme in Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Norway, initially covering only the Air.

Cláudio Afonso founded CARBA in early 2021 and launched the news blog EV later that year.
