Lucid registered seven new vehicles in the Netherlands in October, its highest monthly total since June, while registrations in Norway slowed to a single Gravity SUV, according to national vehicle register data.
The Dutch figure was up from two in October 2025, according to BOVAG, the Dutch car dealers’ association. The Norwegian figure compares with none a year earlier, according to Elbilstatistikk, which tracks registrations in Norway’s vehicle register.
Combined, the two markets recorded eight new Lucid registrations in October, up from two a year earlier. Registrations include test drive, showroom and press vehicles and do not correspond directly to customer deliveries.
The Netherlands
The Netherlands, home to Lucid’s European headquarters in Hilversum, has become the brand’s second-strongest European market after Germany this year.

Lucid registered 46 vehicles in the country from January to October, up 17.9% from 39 in the same period of 2025, BOVAG data show.
October’s seven registrations were split between three Air sedans and four Gravity SUVs, according to the open vehicle register of RDW, the Netherlands’ vehicle authority. October was Lucid’s third-best Dutch month of 2026, behind 10 in May and eight in June.
The monthly series for 2026 runs one in January, two in February, four in March, three in April, 10 in May, eight in June, four in July, three in August, four in September and seven in October.
The Gravity has carried the year. It accounted for 32 of the 46 registrations, or 69.6%. Every Lucid registered in the Netherlands in the first seven months of 2025 was an Air sedan.
The RDW register shows the first Gravity to receive Dutch plates on October 31, 2025, a vehicle first registered elsewhere in August.
The 2025 comparison is flattered by two strong months. Lucid registered 12 vehicles in March 2025 and 10 in May 2025, and this year’s March total was eight lower.
The RDW register, which records each vehicle by the date it was first registered, shows nine new Lucids for June, one more than BOVAG. The difference is a Gravity first registered on June 6 that the register now flags as exported.
The register also shows eight used Lucids imported into the Netherlands this year, on top of the new vehicles. In total, 216 Lucid vehicles have carried Dutch plates since the brand’s launch, 41 of which the register flags as since exported.
As exclusively reported by EV, Lucid named Munsterhuis Autobedrijven as its first Dutch retail partner earlier this year, with a dedicated site in Hengelo. The company had cut the Gravity’s entry price in Europe a day earlier and added two trims.
The brand’s Dutch total remains small. The Dutch passenger car market registered 33,061 new cars in October, 18,243 of them fully electric, according to BOVAG. BYD registered 674 and Tesla 336.
Norway
Norway, one of Lucid’s first European markets, has gone the other way.
Lucid registered nine new vehicles there from January to October, half the 18 recorded in the same period of 2025, according to Elbilstatistikk. Seven of this year’s nine were Gravity SUVs and two were Air sedans.
The Airs were registered in January and June, while the Gravitys came two in May, two in June, two in September and one in October.
The 2026 series runs one in January, none from February to April, two in May, three in June, none in July or August, two in September and one in October. Lucid registered a single vehicle in Norway in the first quarter.
All 18 Lucids registered in Norway in the first ten months of 2025 were Air sedans. Eleven of them came in July 2025 alone, and four more in August. The brand registered its first Gravity there in November 2025.
Elbilstatistikk counts 41 Lucids registered in Norway since the brand entered the market, 33 Air sedans and eight Gravity SUVs. Four of the Air sedans were parallel imports rather than cars sold through Lucid, none of them this year.
The October total was a single unit in a market of 15,725 new passenger cars, 98.8% of them battery-electric, according to the Norwegian Road Federation (OFV). OFV’s published brand tables list only the leading brands, so Lucid does not appear in them.
Norwegian outlet BilNytt reported in May, citing OFV data, that 17 of the 31 new Lucids registered in the country by then had been registered to the importer rather than to customers.
Lucid closed its Oslo showroom on Karl Johans gate on May 14, consolidating Norwegian operations at its service and delivery center in Rud, Bærum, where it said a new showroom would open in the fourth quarter.
A Shifting European Picture
The Netherlands and Norway are two of the five European markets where Lucid currently sells its vehicles, alongside Germany, Switzerland and Belgium. Lucid announced an expansion to France in September as its sixth market, and said in October that French orders would open in the first quarter of 2027.
Across the five markets, Lucid registered 40 vehicles in September, its second-highest month of 2026, bringing its nine-month total to 256, essentially flat from 255 a year earlier.
Germany, Lucid’s largest European market, will report October figures when the Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) publishes its data in the coming days. The September total lifted Lucid’s third-quarter European registrations to 82, down from 118 a year earlier.
Lucid also began selling certified used Air sedans in Europe at the end of September, with the Gravity to follow.
Prices and Results
Lucid’s Dutch website lists the Gravity from €97,900 ($109,700) in Touring form, rising to €150,500 ($168,700) for the Grand Touring Ultimate, and the Air from €88,900 ($99,700) for the Pure. In Norway, the Gravity starts at 1,049,900 kroner ($113,100) and the Air at 1,009,000 kroner ($108,700).
“Lucid confirms that the first European customer delivery of the Lucid Gravity took place in the Netherlands in late December 2025,” the company said in May.
Lucid delivered 3,806 vehicles worldwide in the third quarter, down 6.7% from a year earlier, and built 2,954. “Demand for the Lucid Gravity continued to regain momentum,” the company said, without giving figures by model.
It will report third-quarter results on November 9, with a call at 5:30 p.m. ET.
Lucid shares were up 3.8% at $3.14 in New York as of publication time, after a record-low close of $3.02 on Friday.
