Lucid launched its Lucid Recharged certified pre-owned program in Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Norway on Wednesday, nine months after introducing it in the US.
The program initially covers only the Air sedan, with the Gravity SUV “expected to be added at a later date,” the company said.
To qualify, a car must be less than five years old, have covered fewer than 100,000 kilometres and pass a 163-point inspection, Lucid said.
Each vehicle is reconditioned “to Lucid retail standards” and sold with inspection documentation.
Buyers keep any remaining new-vehicle warranty and receive “at least one year of Lucid warranty coverage and Roadside Assistance,” the company said.
Lucid’s country pages put the added cover at 12 months or 20,000 kilometres, on top of the remaining factory warranty.
The pages also offer a second tier of standard pre-owned cars, which are inspected and repaired but carry only whatever factory warranty remains.
Different From the US
Lucid introduced Recharged in the US in December 2025, when its cheapest listing was a 2023 Air Pure with 21,037 miles for $43,998.
Its US page now sets eligibility at less than six years and 60,000 miles, or about 96,600 kilometres, with an extra 12 months or 12,000 miles of warranty.
That makes the European age limit a year stricter and the mileage limit about 3,400 kilometres looser. The 12,000-mile US cover equals about 19,300 kilometres, slightly less than Europe’s 20,000.
“To qualify for Lucid Recharged, vehicles must be less than five years old, have fewer than 100,000 kilometers, and pass a 163-point inspection,” the company said. “Each vehicle is reconditioned to Lucid retail standards and comes with detailed inspection documentation, giving customers a clear view of the vehicle’s condition and history.”
Pages Went Live Earlier
The European pages carried the Recharged name before Wednesday’s announcement.
An Internet Archive capture of Lucid’s German pre-owned page dated September 19 already showed Recharged branding and the 12-month, 20,000-kilometre warranty.
A capture from May 27 still showed the older “Gebraucht- und Vorführfahrzeuge” page, for used and demo vehicles, with no certified tier.
Lucid began pushing used cars in Germany in October 2025, when it offered selected used and demo cars with a 100-point inspection, the remaining factory warranty and 0% financing.
Not in Belgium or France
Belgium, which Lucid entered on June 2, is not part of the program.
Neither is France, which Lucid named as its sixth European market this month through a partnership with Emil Frey and where it has yet to set a date for orders.
Lucid’s Belgian and French pre-owned addresses redirect to sign-up pages.
A Small Market
The launch adds a used-car channel in markets where Lucid sells few new cars.
It registered six vehicles in Germany in July, its largest European market, down from 46 a year earlier. In August, the premium brand registered 26 units.
Lucid has not said how many certified cars it has in stock in Europe, saying only that more vehicles will be added “as they become available.” Its online inventory does not show a total.
In August, Lucid cut the Gravity’s entry price in Europe and added two trims.
Its public-charging credit on MY26 and demonstration cars, worth €4,000 ($4,500) in the Netherlands, excludes second-hand vehicles and requires delivery by Wednesday.
Lucid listed a used 2022 Air Grand Touring Performance last week for $63,498, about $115,500 below its $179,000 launch price, according to a Reddit post.
“Unicorn Lucid available on website,” user ‘Busy_Recognition_263’ wrote in the r/LUCID community last week.
