Newark-based EV maker Lucid Motors is offering lower financing rates on its new Gravity SUV as the Newark, New Jersey-based electric-vehicle maker works to boost sales of its three-row model.
The company introduced a 5.92% annual percentage rate for 36-month contracts in September, down from 6.28% in July, according to CarsDirect.
Customers can also access a 5.97% rate for 48-month loans. Longer financing remains unchanged at 5.97% for 60 months and 6.07% for 72 months.
By comparison, the Lucid Air sedan carries a 2.99% rate across its Pure, Touring and Grand Touring trims.
Lucid’s Offers page shows financing available for up to 72 months, with an example noting “monthly payment is $16.61 for every $1,000 you finance for 72 months at 6.07% APR.”
That equates to roughly $1,560 a month with no down payment on a $94,000 vehicle.
With the US EV tax credit set to expire Sept. 30, Lucid is advertising additional incentives on its website.
Current offersinclude a $7,500 lease credit on the Gravity and Air, as well as a $2,000 on-site bonus, a $2,000 loyalty incentive, and a $2,000 trade-in allowance for the 2026 Lucid Air lineup.
“Save thousands — the EV credit is going away,” Lucid says on its website, adding that customers must take delivery by Sept. 30 to qualify.
In the US, the EV maker currently delivers the Gravity Grand Touring, starting at $94,900, while the Gravity Touring is slated to launch later this year.
On Saturday, Lucid added several Grand Touring configurations to its inventory, mostly five-seat models priced from $96,550 before fees, and an executive saying the listings reflected production dynamics rather than weaker demand.
Nick Twork, Lucid’s head of communications, said in a separate post that the move allowed buyers to “skip the wait” and purchase from a limited pool of vehicles already available.
Within 24 hours, all units were sold out, prompting Lucid to add more vehicles on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the first Gravity to appear on the second-hand market fetched $131,000 this week on Cars & Bids.
The Aurora Green Metallic Dream Edition — reserved initially for Grand Touring customers — drew 25 bids before the final day, when 18 additional offers pushed the price up by $6,000 from the previous high of $125,000.
