XPeng said on Friday that it has delivered 24,702 vehicles outside China between January 1 and August 31, as the Chinese automaker keeps expanding its presence all over the globe.
According to the brand, which is present across 46 countries and regions, the figures represent a jump of over 137% from the same period a year ago.
The announcement was made on the social media platform Weibo, as the company republished information first posted by user ‘电车出海’ (meaning ‘EVs going overseas’).
According to the data, “in the 46 countries and regions it has entered, [XPeng] ranked first in 12,” while holding the top position “for total sales among new EV brands” among 32 of them.
“By August 2025, XPeng had signed over 119 global dealers,” with stores growing from 150 last year to 275 in a year.
The user also noted that the company has a “balanced regional distribution,” with Europe representing 52% of its overseas sales, the Middle East 25% and Asia 21%.
The remaining 2% are sold in Latin America.
XPeng aims to double its presence overseas in 2025, from 30 to 60 markets and is now 14 countries away from reaching the target.
In Europe, the brand was present in just seven markets a year ago — Norway, Denmark, Sweden, the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg.
In the past twelve months, the company expanded to several markets including France, Portugal, Spain, the UK, Ireland, Iceland, among others, which led registrations to nearly triple year over year.
Earlier this month, XPeng opened its first European R&D center, as the IAA Auto Show took place in the city.
The new R&D center becomes the Guangzhou-based company’s ninth global R&D hub, according to the brand, after Sillicon Valley and San Diego, in the United States.
On the same week, the brand announced that its best-selling Mona series will be included in its overseas lineup in 2026, following the launch of the new P7 and the arrival of the P7+.
