Zeekr, the Geely-backed brand, sold 3,200 vehicles in China between June 9 and 15, in line with its sales performance from the first week of June.
Between March 31 and June 15, the brand registered 36,360 units in China, averaging about 3,305 units per week in the second quarter to date.
Zeekr Group‘s Lynk&Co brand listed 3,300 vehicles in China, a slight increase of 12.1%.
The group, including both Zeekr and Lynk&Co, delivered 46,538 vehicles in May. Of those, 18,908 were Zeekr vehicles.
Year to date, the Zeekr brand sold 75,300 vehicles in China, while Lynk&Co registered 113,700.
On Monday, Zeekr announced on a Weibo post that it reached its 500,000th produced vehicle.
“In just 44 months [nearly four years], Zeekr has set a new record as the fastest luxury EV brand to reach 500,000 units,” the company added.
Sales figures from the Nio Group, which also includes Onvo and Firefly, reached 4,700 vehicles — up from the 4,300 units last week. Of those, 1,200 units were Onvo’s and 400 were Firefly’s.
Li Auto registered 7,900 vehicles last week, ranking below Stellantis-backed Leapmotor, which sold 8,800 units. Guangzhou-based XPeng followed with 6,400 vehicles sold, while tech giant Xiaomi registered 5,600 EVs.
The best-selling new energy vehicle brand BYD listed 70,300 hybrid and fully electric models. Tesla solidified its position as the best-selling fully electric brand, with 15,500 units — its best sales week in the quarter and the third best year to date.
Zeekr’s fully electric lineup in China includes its 001 sedan, the 7X SUV, the 009 MPV, the Mix minivan, plus the luxury 007 sedan and X SUV.
The company unveiled its first hybrid model in April, at the Shanghai Auto Show, and aims to release two more hybrid SUVs in the third and fourth quarters.
The hybrid full-size 9X will be rolled out in the third quarter, according to the brand’s website.
On Monday, Zeekr announced it is holding the launch event for the 9X SUV on July 9.
The model, which has a range of 380 km, is expected to be priced around 600,000 yuan ($83,600), local media outlet CnEvPost reported.
