A year ago, a Zeekr spokesperson told Reuters the company aimed to double its sales in 2024, setting an ambitious target of delivering 230,000 vehicles by year-end. As of the end of November, the carmaker had delivered 194,933 vehicles, leaving the company with just 31 days to deliver 35,067 units to meet its 2024 target.

On Wednesday, the Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer reported December deliveries of 27,190 vehicles. While representing a slight sequential growth of 0.6% and a year-over-year increase of 102%, it left Zeekr 7,877 units short of its annual goal. In 2024, Zeekr delivered 222,123 vehicles.

In early December, Zeekr extended incentives in China, including zero down payment and zero-interest financing.

“Looking ahead to 2025, Zeekr aims to achieve deliveries of 320,000 vehicles,”—the company said in its December delivery report— eyeing a 44% sales growth.

The company recently announced plans to introduce its five-seater SUV, the 7X, to European markets. Launched in China in August 2024, the 7X is expected to begin European deliveries in the summer of 2025 across the Netherlands, Sweden, and Norway.
