Nuro's robotaxi engineering vehicle is seen on Uchibori-dōri, a major avenue alongside the Imperial Palace grounds in central Tokyo. Testing in Japan, with safety drivers at the wheel, is the company's first operation outside the United States and puts its system on left-hand-traffic city streets.
