EventRent Roadshows announced on Thursday that it has partnered with Lucid Motors to host a European tour featuring mobile pop-up stores as the California-based EV maker plans to continue expanding both its network and lineup in Europe.

“Europe, get ready! We’ve partnered with Lucid Motors to bring their electric vehicles to customers across Europe with our Mobile Showroom,” EventRent said in a LinkedIn post.

Lucid plans to expand its European lineup next year, starting with the launch of the Sapphire variant of its Air sedan in the first quarter. The company is also preparing to release its Gravity SUV in Europe in early 2026 while sales start in mid-next year. A midsized model, priced below $50,000, is set to begin production in late 2026 and is expected to arrive in Europe in 2027.

The automaker has been increasing its presence in Germany, recently opening showrooms in Frankfurt and Hamburg. Chief Operating Officer Stefan Winterhoff said in an interview earlier this week that Lucid plans to add studios in Berlin and Stuttgart by 2025 and is “revising our strategy to establish numerous other outlets in Germany.”

“Overall, we aim to operate between 10 and 12 locations across the country,” Winterhoff added.

Lucid currently operates more than 70 service hubs across Europe, including centers in Munich and Witten, with plans to expand service locations in Frankfurt and near Düsseldorf, according to the executive.

In November, Lucid registered 116 vehicles in Germany, driven in part by a rental fleet deal with Sixt announced in October. Year-to-date registrations in the country total 372 units, up 304.3% from the same period in 2023.

Alexander Lutz, Lucid Motors’ managing director for Europe, has just left the company a year after joining, EV learned on Thursday. The role will be filled by Lawrence Hamilton, who has spent the past two and a half years leading Hyundai’s Genesis brand in Europe.

In the Netherlands, where the company has its European headquarters, Lucid has registered 42 vehicles so far this year (up 68% year over year), including just two in November — as much as in October.

The EV maker recorded its highest-ever U.S. sales last month, delivering an estimated 712 vehicles, data from Motor Intelligence released on Tuesday showed. Sales increased 45% year-on-year within the company’s core market, alongside a 6.3% rise compared to October, marking the second straight month of growth.
