XPeng said on Friday that the refreshed XPeng G9 has officially arrived in stores across 214 cities in China, as it prepares to start deliveries of the latest iteration.
According to the carmaker, the latest iteration of the SUV brings 66 upgrades while maintaining much of its original exterior design. It now comes standard with 5C ultra-fast charging, similar to the refreshed G6 SUV.
With a peak charging power of 530 kW, the G9 can recharge from 10% to 80% in just 12 minutes. XPeng claims it has the lowest energy consumption in its class, at 13.9 kWh per 100 km, with the long range variant offering an ultra-long CLTC range of up to 725 km.
The standard-range version is equipped with a 79 kWh battery, while the long-range variant features a 93.1 kWh pack. Final pricing detail are not yet available as of Friday.
Inside, the refreshed G9 retains a dual 14.96-inch central display, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P chip, bigger than the 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster found in the refreshed G6.
The SUV is available in single-motor and dual-motor all-wheel-drive configurations. The single-motor variant produces 258 kW, while the dual-motor version delivers a combined 423 kW for enhanced performance.
Last week, the company unveiled the refreshed version of its SUV model G6, describing it as a full-scale upgrade with changes to exterior, interior, and configuration.
The vehicle will be launched next week when pricing will be announced, and deliveries in China will begin.
