Chinese automaker XPeng registered 162 vehicles in Germany in February, nearly doubling its January total. The increase came in the same month the company announced it would enter Poland, Slovakia, Switzerland, and the Czech Republic over the next few months.
XPeng entered the German market less than a year ago and reached three-digit cumulative sales in September 2024. It currently sells three models in the country: the G6 SUV (€43,600/$46,000), the G9 SUV (€59,600/$62,900), and the P7 sedan (€49,600/$52,400).

Globally, XPeng delivered 30,453 vehicles in February, a 570% increase from a year earlier, when sales were at a lower level before picking up later in 2024. The company has delivered more than 10,000 vehicles in Europe since its market entry.
XPeng plans to introduce its first ever hybrid vehicle over the next few months, an SUV that has been seen undergoing road tests in China.

Tesla’s vehicle registrations in Germany fell 70% year over year to 1,429 units, ahead of the Model Y refresh launch in Europe in May. Polestar’s registrations rose 82% to 263 units, while BYD and Nio recorded 185 and 25, respectively.
Xpeng established its European headquarters in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, in February 2021. Since then, it has set up offices in Denmark, Germany, Norway, and Sweden to support its regional operations.
