Nio sub-brand Onvo delivered 5,082 electric vehicles in November, the company said on Sunday, as production ramps up at its facility in Hefei, located in China’s Anhui province.
Deliveries of Onvo’s first model began in late September at Nio’s F2 factory while the third one is still under construction. The company targets monthly deliveries exceeding 20,000 units by March 2025, once it completes the ramp-up phase.

Shortly after the announcement of November’s delivery numbers, Onvo reaffirmed on Weibo is goal of deliver more than 10,000 units in December.
“As of November 30, 2024, the Onvo L60 has surpassed 10,000 cumulative deliveries! The goal for December is to exceed 10,000 units in a single month, continuing its rapid growth,” the brand wrote on Weibo this Sunday.
Onvo’s president Alan Ai echoed the post saying “this is jut the beginning” before adding that the 10,000 units target will “will surely be achieved” in December, as initially estimated by the company’s management.
“The Onvo L60 has surpassed 10,000 cumulative deliveries! This is just the beginning, and the goal of exceeding 10,000 units in December alone will surely be achieved,” the executive wote.
“To thank all our users for their support, Tiecheng is offering a small token of appreciation: we will randomly select 10 winners to receive a super-capacity foldable storage box. Wishing everyone big happiness in both their homes and lives!” he added.
Last week, Alan Ai challenged anyone who doubted the brand would deliver 10,000 units in December to bet an L60 with him. The model starts at 206,900 yuan, equivalent to about $28,570.
On Friday, the executive returned to Weibo to say that “no one has accepted the challenge” showing “that everyone is quite confident in our ability to achieve the goal.”
Currently, Onvo’s app indicates a waiting period of 8 to 10 weeks, following the loss of some reservations as customers became concerned about potentially missing out on purchase incentives if they took delivery of the L60 after December 31 — as confirmed by the company’s management at the earnings conference call.
The figures represent a 27.5% week-over-week increase from 1,020 units sold in the previous week and match the record of 1,300 units achieved earlier in November. At the Guangzhou Auto Show, Onvo President Alan Ai announced that deliveries of the Onvo L60 had exceeded 7,000 units as of November 14, 47 days after they began in China.
Despite recent slower-than-expected production ramp-up, the executive has reaffirmed the company’s goal of delivering more than 10,000 units in December and over 20,000 by March next year adding that if these goals are not met, he will step down.
Onvo delivered 832 vehicles in September — with deliveries beginning only on September 28 — and had initially targeted 5,000 units for October, its first full month of production. However, actual deliveries fell short, totaling 4,319 units.
Onvo is planning to launch two new vehicles in 2025. A 6-7 seat SUV will be unveiled by the end of the first quarter with deliveries starting “around May” 2025.
