Li Auto, whose vehicles primarily incorporate a fuel tank to extend their driving range, is getting ready to launch its fourth and cheapest SUV model, the L6.
The official debut is scheduled for the upcoming Beijing Auto Show later this month, marking the latest addition after the recent introduction of Li Mega, the Chinese manufacturer’s first fully electric model.

NEVER MISS AN UPDATE
Li Auto is renowned for its extended-range electric vehicles (EREVs) such as the Li L7, Li L8, and Li L9, all priced over 300,000 yuan ($41,200). The introduction of the Li L6, which will be priced below this mark, will contribute to one of the company goals for this year: expand its market share in China.

“For the first half of the year, we will be releasing in our March 1st spring event, Li MEGA as well as 2024 model year Li L7, L8, and L9. And in — also in first half, we’ll be releasing the L6.
In the second half of the year, Li Auto will be releasing another three pure electric SUV models with 5C charging and all-wheel drive. In the last earnings call, in late February, Li Auto’s Executive Director and President Donghui Ma guaranteed that those models will be “very, very competitive”.
Ma commented that the company “would like to focus exclusively on over 200,000 yuan family markets globally” adding that the strategy is “to continue to dive deep into this market, create a brand, and expand the market share”.
