In 2022, T-Mobile featured Fisker‘s Ocean SUV in one of its 5G-related TV commercials and is now providing a brand-new Ocean as part of its weekly offers in the T-Life app.

Earlier this year, T-Mobile started enhancing its services with new perks and an upgraded app. This new app, named T-Life, provides account management features like controlling home internet but also introduces additional perks.

Since mid-February, customers have been enjoying discounts on hotels, tickets, and the convenience of returning electric cars at Hertz without needing to recharge. All pretty standard, isn’t it? However, what surprised brand enthusiasts was T-Mobile’s upcoming reward: one of only 5,000 Fisker Ocean Launch Edition.

After Fisker’s recent price cuts on its inventory units, the Extreme variant now starts at $37,499 (previously $61,499), the Ultra variant starts at $34,999 (previously $52,999), and the Sport variant is priced at $24,999 (previously $38,999).

Back in November 2022, Fisker’s first model Ocean was the selected electric vehicle by the communications company T-Mobile to promote its 5G service in a TV commercial.

In recent weeks, the manufacturer has been grappling with financial challenges while addressing owner concerns and striving to maximize car deliveries following undisclosed layoffs across its global teams.

On Tuesday, Fisker conveyed a message within a private Facebook group comprising over three thousand owners, investors, and enthusiasts of the brand. The message underscored Fisker’s commitment to ensuring a seamless experience for all customers who have purchased the Fisker Ocean SUV.

Last week, and only 24 hours after withdrawing all financial and operational guidance for 2024, Fisker appointed both Deutsche Bank and PJT Partners as financial advisors to explore strategic alternatives.
