XPeng announced on Friday that sales for the refreshed iterations of the G6 and G9 SUVs have started in several markets in Europe, with deliveries set to start “at the end of the summer.”
Customers can now order the models in France, Germany, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg — eight out of the 18 European countries the brand is currently available at.
The Guangzhou-based company further announced that the G6 is currently being showcased at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, which happens from July 10 to July 13, in England.
However, there are no details regarding a future expansion of either model in the United Kingdom, where the brand entered just three months ago and currently only offers one model — the previous version of the G6 SUV in right-hand drive.
The new G6 and G9 are produced on XPeng’s 800V architecture, “with ultra-fast charging capabilities.”
According to the brand, they’re capable of charging 10% to 80% SoC (state of charge) “in just 12 minutes, with the G9 peaking at 525 kW and G6 at 451 kW.”
XPeng claims that the G6 can reach up to 535 km (about 330 miles) of WLTP range, while the G9 goes up to 585 km (360 miles).
Last month, the Chinese automaker expanded to Italy, where it entered with the new versions of the SUVs. It also arrived in Slovakia and Czech Republic; however, its lineup in both countries includes the previous iterations.
XPeng sold 1,693 vehicles across 17 out of 18 European markets in June, a 48.8% increase from May’s 1,138 units.

Registrations of the brand’s models in Europe vary from month to month since the vehicles are manufactured in China. Deliveries depend on when cargo ships arrive in Europe.
XPeng launched in Germany and France a year ago. The brand sold 240 and 391 vehicles in each of the markets, setting new sales records in the two countries, according to national official data.
It has also entered the Benelux markets in June 2024. This Friday, the company announced it has received 1,000 orders in the 12 months since launching in Belgium and Luxembourg.
Last month, it sold 115 units in the Benelux, a surge from the 12 vehicles it had registered a year before.
The company also said last week it has delivered its 5,000th vehicle in Denmark, its third European market, which it entered in April 2022.
The automaker recently revealed it is entering Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, Hungary, Slovenia and Croatia.
It aims to more than double the number of countries it operates in from 30 to 60 this year, while doubling annual vehicle deliveries to over 380,000.
XPeng delivered 34,611 vehicles in June, a 224% surge year over year. In the first half of 2025, the brand sold 197,189 units, achieving 53% of its annual target.
On Friday, the brand announced it surpassed its 800,000-th cumulative delivery since its first vehicle was handed over in December 2018 — six and a half years ago.
By the end of 2023, the brand had reached a total of 400,000 deliveries, meaning that it doubled that number in just a year and a half.
