Polestar announced that has arrived Ireland with its Polestar 2 model with a starting price of €54,500 as global expansion continues. The company also unveiled a four-week roadshow running from May 9th, starting in Dublin and moving on to Irish cities of Kilkenny, Cork and Galway.

The Swedish EV maker recently said that, during the first half of 2022, it will establish in Hong Kong, Spain, Portugal, and Ireland. Also Israel, UAE (United Arab Emirates), and Kuwait are planned to be added to the Middle East market footprint. The company aims to be active in 30 global markets by the end of 2023.

On March 25, one day after announcing the arrival of the Polestar 2 model to the United States, the company opened its new Studio located in the Scotssdale Fashion Square Mall, Arizona. The unofficial announcement was made by the Mall account on Instagram earlier today. Polestar 2 is now available to purchase with a starting price of $45,900, or as low as $33,400 after qualified federal and state incentives.

Recently, Polestar announced that has started first deliveries of customer orders for the Polestar 2 electric performance fastback, in Sydney and Melbourne. The company said that me model has seen “a surge in demand for its first model to launch in the Australian new car market” since announcing the start of sales on February 18th. During the first 48h, over 1,600 customers tested Polestar 2 Model and nearly 300 vehicles orders were made showing a strong demand. The Polestar 3 is “expected to arrive in Australia in 2023”, the company stated.

The company announced on March 16th that the first batch of Polestar 2 models has already arrived Norway regarding company’s partnership with Avis. The Swedish EV maker Polestar and the car rental company have signed an agreement on the delivery of 200 Polestar 2.

Polestar intends to list on the Nasdaq in a proposed business combination with Gores Guggenheim, Inc., which is expected to close in the first half of 2022.
