NIO starts hiring for Sweden regarding European Expansion

The EV company posted today the first Swedish Roles regarding the expansion for that (and others) countries next year. As said during NIO Day, the company will expand to Germany, Sweden, Netherlands, Denmark after the entering the Norwegian Market.

NIO is currently looking for three different roles: a Power Manager, a Power Network Development Manager and a Key Account Manager.

In the role description NIO enhances that the candidates will be:

“Responsible for leading energy team to implement the NIO Power energy business in Europe, including power swap (site selection, construction, operation), charging (home charger installation, site selection, construction, operation, sales) , Battery operations (security, logistics, upgrades), and other energy-related user services and business development.”

Lead the development of the NIO Power Network; Responsible for location acquisition and assessment of Power Swap & Charging network solutions in the local areas; Manage a team of business developers, and you will hire them; Engage with property owners, grid operators, regulatory and governmental bodies and other key stakeholders.”

The Chinese EV has been always looking for German, Norwegians and Netherlanders Candidates during the last months and opens now the first positions for Sweden.

During the last weeks NIO enthusiasts have been noticing also some U.S. related new Job Posts however Deutsche Bank’ Analyst Edison Yu said that the U.S. Expansion can be “years away”. The company only advanced that NIO will be selling in the U.S. by 2025 not specifying the year where those sales/ deliveries will start.
