The electric vehicle maker NIO started on Tuesday looking for a Europe Operations Specialist for its sub-brand NIO Life. The arrival of the brand in Europe happens at the same time as NIO enters four new European markets in the fourth quarter: Germany, Denmark, The Netherlands, and Sweden.
What is NIO Life?
NIO Life is NIO’s original design lifestyle brand that collaborates with independent designers and top design schools in the U.K., Italy, Scandinavia, and Asia. The project aims to create a “joyful lifestyle with products that represent progressive attitudes, good stories, and quality designs,” the EV maker says.

The Operations Specialist for NIO Life in Europe will be responsible for representing NIO Life as a spokesperson and external representative within NIO, driving strong collaboration and managing the business development.
In addition, the candidate will develop and execute the NIOLife Europe operation and activity plan, monitor and analyze daily/weekly/monthly sales on the country/category level NIO added.

In April 2021, NIO Life officially announced at Auto Shanghai the first batch of over 80 designers collaborating on its sustainable project, Blue Sky Lab. The first collaborating designers include students and faculty from the world-leading Parsons School of Design at The New School, Shuhei Aoyama, a creative pioneer in the architecture industry, and designers from the NIO user community and NIO’s global offices. Partner brands include Li Ning, China’s premiere sports brand, and Allbirds, an innovative sustainable fashion brand NIO said.
Earlier this week, on the same day that NIO launched the 1,000th Battery Swap Station, the company hosted the 2022 NIO Power Day broadcasting the event via Weibo and WeChat social platforms. Qin Lihong, NIO’s president and co-founder, unveiled what the company is working on for the upcoming months namely the new 500kW ultra-fast charger and the third generation of NIO’s Battery Swap Stations.
On Monday, the EV maker announced that has reached a total of 10 million battery swaps four years after launching its first Battery Swap Station in China providing users with a cumulative mileage of more than 1.98 billion kilometers. The NIO user with the most battery swaps has been to 169 Stations and swapped the battery 1,364 times.
