XPeng Expands to Switzerland with Two SUVs, P7 Sedan Arrives in 2026

Chinese automaker XPeng said on Wednesday that it has officially launched in Switzerland, after having announced its expansion to the country six months ago.

The Guangzhou-based company is partnering with local distributor ‘Hedin Mobility Group,’ which also represents the brand in Slovakia and Czech Republic — where it entered earlier this year.

Hedin will be responsible for “not only import and distribution, but also sales, aftersales services, and spare parts supply,” according to its website.

The group further added that XPeng models “have been on the Swiss market since summer 2025,” mentioning that “test drives are already possible at the Dielsdorf location (with prior registration).”

The brand has entered the country with its G6 and G9 SUVs.

The newly launched P7 sedan will arrive in the Swiss market next year, Hedin’s website shows.

The model will make the European debut at next week’s IAA Munich Auto Show where the rollout plan will be revealed.

It recently introduced the updated iterations of both models in Europe — with deliveries set to start “at the end of the summer.”

They have been available in China since March.

However, and according to XPeng‘s Swiss website, the automaker seems to have entered the country with the previous versions of the models.

The same has happened with Czech Republic and Slovakia. In Italy, XPeng launched in late June with the new G6 and G9.

The pricing details are not yet available on the website, as the company directs users to a contact form.

XPeng‘s most recent European market launches no longer include the P7 sedan, which was just refreshed in its domestic market.

Last week, the automaker began delivering the refreshed P7 in China, just twelve hours after its official launch event at the company’s EV plant in Guangzhou. The sedan is scheduled to debut in Europe later this month.

The company set a sales record in August with 37,709 fully electric vehicles delivered. Year-to-date deliveries are up 252% compared with the first eight months of 2024 with 271,615 units already handed over.

XPeng aims to more than double the number of countries it operates in from 30 to 60 this year while doubling annual vehicle deliveries to over 380,000.

In Europe, sales nearly tripled year over year to 1,509 vehicles in July. August data is not yet available across all the markets.
