NIO announced on Friday that it will report its second quarter financial results on September 7 before the opening of the U.S. markets followed by a conference call at 8:00 eastern time.
The company said a live and archived webcast of the conference call will be available on the investor relations website.
In the second quarter, the EV manufacturer reported 25,059 vehicles delivered, 14.4% more year-over-year but 2.75% less (709 units) than during the year’s first quarter.
Earlier today, NIO announced that the independent committee of the board of directors has concluded that these allegations were not substantiated.
On June 28, the research firm Grizzly Research mentioned NIO as Short following the report where the firm claimed that the EV maker is “likely using an unconsolidated related party” to inflate its revenue and also the profitability.
The company announced on Thursday the shipping of the first ES7 batch from its second factory located at NEO Park in Hefei, Anhui province. The first deliveries will begin on Sunday (August 28) according to the user’s order locking time, destination distance, and also production progress.
