Lucid will give further details of its entry into France at a press conference at the Paris Motor Show on October 12, after publishing French prices for the Air and Gravity.
Lawrence Hamilton, President of Europe at Lucid, and Pierre Guignot, General Manager of the Emil Frey France Import Division, “will share additional details about Lucid’s entry into the French market,” the company said in a press release on Thursday.
The press conference is set for 17:20 at the Lucid stand in Hall 7.1. The premium EV maker has not said when orders will open or when deliveries will start.
“Lucid Gravity and Lucid Air will soon be available for sale in France. Additional details regarding ordering and availability will be announced separately,” the company said.
The release does not say whether those details will come at the press conference.
French Prices
The Air starts at €86,900 ($99,100) including VAT for the Air Pure, which Lucid rates at up to 831 kilometers of WLTP range from an 88 kWh battery pack.
The Air Touring starts at €100,900 ($115,000), the Air Grand Touring at €131,900 ($150,400) and the Air Sapphire at €252,900 ($288,400).
The Gravity starts at €95,900 ($109,300) for the Gravity Touring, which has an 89 kWh battery pack and up to 545 kilometers of WLTP range.
The seven-seat Gravity Touring Plus starts at €99,900 ($113,600), the Gravity Grand Touring at €120,900 ($137,800) and the Gravity Grand Touring Ultimate at €148,900 ($169,700).
The Air Grand Touring has the longest range in the lineup, at up to 960 kilometers WLTP.
Lucid will show the Gravity Grand Touring and Air Grand Touring at the show, which runs from October 12 to 18.
Emil Frey Role
Lucid announced its entry into France on September 3, making it the company’s sixth European market.
Lucid said it would keep its own import organization and control of its brand, commercial strategy and customer experience, while Emil Frey France would provide operational support.
The companies did not detail which tasks Emil Frey would take on, or say how many sales and service locations Lucid plans in France.
Neither announcement gave a sales or volume target.
“This collaboration reflects our commitment to supporting manufacturers that are redefining the automotive industry,” Guignot said at the time.
Emil Frey France is the official importer of Mitsubishi Motors and Subaru in France.
European Expansion
France is one of four European markets now expected in Lucid’s 2026 wave, alongside Belgium, Denmark and Italy, though Lucid has not published a full list.
Then-interim Chief Executive Officer Marc Winterhoff said in September 2025 that Lucid planned to open eight additional markets in Europe in 2026. The management confirmed a few of them, including France, the UK, Spain, and Denmark.
Lucid has since pushed the United Kingdom to early 2028.
EV exclusively reported on June 10 that Lucid had delayed Spain and Austria to 2027. The company has not confirmed, denied or commented on the report as of Friday morning.
