Electric vehicle maker Lucid Motors shared on Wednesday a new teaser of its soon to be revealed concept car based on the Gravity SUV.
“Trail-tuned. Road-defined. Our most adventurous concept yet. Tomorrow at Monterey Car Week,” the company wrote on X.
The teaser comes one day before the concept is officially revealed on the Concept Lawn at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance on August 14, ahead of Lucid’s showcase of both models at the Monterey Car Week.
The video of the concept car — named Gravity X — shows close-up views of the vehicle’s front light bar, rear lighting and body lines, along with shots of dust in an open-terrain setting.
The concept is fitted with large wheels and what appear to be all-terrain tyres, and sits higher off the ground than the road-focused version, suggesting an off-road design study.
Below is the teaser video shared by Lucid on X this Wednesday.
Earlier this week, shared another three short teaser videos on social media.
In addition to displaying the Lucid Air sedan and the Gravity SUV at the event, the company will offer demonstration drives.
The Air and — for the first time at Monterey Car Week — the Gravity will be available for test drives on Thursday from 10am to 6pm, and from 9am to 6pm on Friday and Saturday.
The unveiling comes as Lucid steps up marketing ahead of Gravity’s global ad campaign planned for early September and the launch in Europe.
Last month, the company named actor Timothée Chalamet as its first global brand ambassador, part of a strategy to partner with high-profile cultural and sporting figures.
