Polestar Launches New Platform Focused on Fleet Customers

Polestar said on Tuesday it has launched a new connected service aimed at improving the experience of its fleet operators through real-time data and predictive insights.

The platform, called Polestar Fleet Telematics, provides live vehicle information, usage analytics, and integration with existing fleet management systems.

According to the Sweden-based EV maker, the platform does not require additional hardware or installation fees and was developed in collaboration with three other firms: Echoes, Geotab, and High Mobility.

Ramon Lingen, the brand’s Head of Global Fleet and Pre-owned, said the system allows operators “to make smarter, data-driven decisions that benefit both their business and the planet.”

With a scalable architecture for multi-market deployment, Polestar Fleet Telematics is available across Polestar’s product line-up, offering a unified connected experience for global fleet operators.

In June, Polestar UK’s head of sales, Rob Morris, said the company is targeting significant year-on-year fleet growth in the market in the second half of 2025.

“With brand sales year to date, you’re looking at 80% fleet sales, and so we will continue to drive on that success,” Morris said in an interview with Business Car.

“We did our first [fleet webinar] in May this year, and we’ve heavily invested in the Leasing Portal, which enables leasing companies to gain access to our information,” Morris said as part of the brand’s fleet push.

As reported this week, the brand registered 5,718 vehicles in Europe last month, more than double the 2,412 units recorded in August.

According to data compiled from national registration agencies and the EU-EVs data platform, sales jumped 31.5% compared to September 2024.

Chinese media outlet Lanjinger reported on Monday that Polestar has closed its last physical store in China, as it continues to face weak demand in the country.

Polestar sold 69 vehicles in China in the first half of the year.
