Polestar launches a $1,000 incentive in the U.S. Market until the end of August

The EV maker Polestar sent an e-mail on Friday announcing a $1,000 incentive on all Polestar 2 orders in the United States valid on retail customer orders from August 26 until the last day of the month.

In the United States, the long-range single motor version starts at $48,400 while the dual motor version starts at $51,900 before qualified federal and state incentives.

“Polestar has some great news to share with you: today Polestar has launched a $1.000 incentive on all Polestar 2 orders, which is a rebate that can be applied as a discount on a cash or finance transaction, or applied to a lease,” the company said in a statement.

The Swedish manufacturer added that the $1,000 Polestar Promotion is “valid on retail customer orders from 8/26/2022-8/31/2022 on new Polestar 2 vehicles. Visit your Polestar Space for further details”.

Earlier this week, the company signed a multi-year agreement to supply battery and charging systems to Candela, a Swedish hydrofoil electric boat company.

The companies detailed that,”utilising computer-guided hydrofoils which lift the hull above water, Candela’s electric boats ‘fly’ above the surface and use up to 80% less energy at high speeds compared to traditional motorboats”. Candela said the firms committed to exploring further opportunities for future collaboration.

Last week, Polestar opened its new Destination Center in Vallensbæk, (Denmark) offering two delivery points and also a workplace for eight employees and Polestar specialists.

Earlier in the week, Polestar announced the opening of its UK commercial headquarters and a new Test Drive Hub in December 2022 at Bicester Heritage, 65miles away from London.

“Polestar Bicester will be a new multi-purpose location following the development of one of the existing two-story buildings in the Heritage Quarters,” the company said.

Recently, Polestar said it will bring the electric Roadster concept into production with the market launch scheduled for 2026.
