China’s tech giant Huawei announced a new product launch event on September 10 at 2:30 PM in China. Meanwhile, Apple will host its product launch event on the same day, scheduled for September 10 at 1:00 AM Beijing time.
As part of its promotion, Huawei released a teaser video for the AITO M9, a luxury SUV that will be featured at the upcoming event.
The new five-seater edition of the M9 removes the third row of seats, providing more space and catering to those seeking a comfortable and spacious driving experience. In August, the AITO M9 recorded 15,386 units delivered.
While Huawei has not officially disclosed details of other products to be launched, many netizens speculate that the long-rumored tri-fold smartphone might be unveiled. In addition to the AITO M9, Chery Automobile’s Luxeed R7 is also expected to make its debut during the event.
Previously, Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei Consumer Business Group, hinted that the Luxeed R7 was slated for a September release.
A well-known blogger on Weibo, “Adak封狼居胥”, further fueled speculation by posting “9+7+3,” which many believe refers to the upcoming product lineup: “9” for the AITO M9, “7” for the Luxeed R7, and “3” for the tri-fold smartphone.
