Electric vehicle maker XPeng is preparing to launch a refreshed version of its G6 coupe SUV, with a leaked poster suggesting a starting price of 202,800 yuan ($28,140) for the long-range variant and 217,800 yuan ($30,000) for the ultra-long-range Max version.
The company said earlier this week that it will launch the refreshed G6 and G9 on Thursday, March 13.
XPeng introduced the first-generation G6 in June 2023, pricing it between 209,900 yuan and 276,900 yuan ($28,900-$38,140).
The model, smaller than its flagship G9 SUV, began deliveries in China a month later and has since expanded to international markets, including the UK, where first-generation G6 deliveries are set to begin this month, starting at ÂŁ39,990 ($51,900).

The Guangzhou-based automaker is updating its SUV lineup to remain competitive in China’s intensifying EV market.
Last Friday, the updated G9 arrived in stores across 214 Chinese cities, following the official unveiling of the new G6. However, XPeng has yet to disclose pricing details, which are expected at the launch event.
The latest versions of both SUVs feature over 60 upgrades, including 5C ultra-fast charging, the company said.
Citi analyst Jeff Chung upgraded the firm’s rating on the carmaker earlier this week, raising the firm’s 2024 delivery estimate by 85% to nearly 500,000 vehicles.
XPeng delivered 30,453 vehicles in February, marking the fourth consecutive month of exceeding 30,000 units as it aims to double its sales figures in 2025. In the second quarter of the year, the company will continue to expand in Europe to several new markets.
