Analysts estimate Tesla will deliver 506,763 vehicles in the fourth quarter, according to consensus data. The company’s Head of Investor Relations Travis Axelrod sent an email on Sunday compiling the delivery estimates from 26 Wall Street analysts.

The consensus estimate for the third quarter was 461,978 vehicles, during which the EV maker ultimately reported deliveries of 462,890 vehicles—exceeding expectations by 912 units, or 0.2%.

Tesla will release the fourth-quarter delivery report on Thursday before the market opens. To match its total deliveries for 2023, the company would need to deliver 514,925 vehicles in the quarter.

In the fourth quarter, Tesla delivered its seven millionth vehicle. The company’s entire fleet is collectively driving an estimated 70 billion miles annually.

Globally, Tesla has stated it “expects to achieve slight growth in vehicle deliveries in 2024,” and aims to deliver more than 500,000 vehicles in a single quarter for the first time.
