Tesla’s Hollywood Diner to Feature 80 Superchargers, App Shows

Tesla’s long-anticipated Hollywood diner and drive-in theater is nearing its public debut — and now officially appears in the Tesla app with a major infrastructure reveal.

The site has 80 Superchargers available, each supporting charging speeds of up to 325 kW.

The listing in the Tesla mobile app marks the first formal confirmation of the diner’s charging capacity, making it one of the largest urban Supercharger sites in California — as first reported by X user ‘Teslarati.’

Tesla CEO Elon Musk visited the site earlier this week, writing on X: “Just had dinner at the retro-futuristic @Tesla diner and Supercharger. Team did great work making it one of the coolest spots in LA!”

Musk confirmed earlier this Friday on X that customers will be able to order food at Tesla’s new Hollywood Diner directly through their vehicle’s touchscreen.

Audio from the movies and videos shown on the two 45-foot LED screens will sync with and play through the car’s speakers.

Located just south of Sunset Boulevard, the 24-hour Tesla Diner combines EV charging with entertainment and food service while offering movie screenings.

Menu items spotted during test preparations include burgers, hot dogs, wings, and sides, while Tesla-branded collectibles are expected to be handed out to early visitors.

Though Tesla has not yet announced an official opening date, recent promotional filming and app integration suggest the launch is imminent.

Musk first proposed the concept in 2018, describing a “drive-in, roller skates & rock” diner at a Supercharger location in Los Angeles.

The app also lists charging fees at $0.42 per kWh for the site.
