Last week, Bloomberg reported that Tesla is delaying the event where it is expected to unveil its Robotaxi from August 8 until October, according to a report from Bloomberg.

Answering to a X user, Elon Musk confirmed on Monday that the teams need an “extra time” due to a design change. However, he added that the delay will allow Tesla to show “a few other things” at the event.

“Requested what I think is an important design change to the front, and extra time allows us to show off a few other things,” Musk wrote on X.

Earlier this year, the chief executive had announced on X that the event would take place on 8/8.

Called CyberCab by Elon,  appears to feature a two-seat interior without a steering wheel, and a large center console, as shown in an image shared by Tesla in a video released in late May.
