Hedin Automotive, the exclusive distributor for the electric-vehicle maker Nio and its entry-level brand Firefly in Belgium and Luxembourg, announced official pricing ahead of sales starting next month.
Starting prices range between €29,990 ($34,900) for the compact hatchback of the sub-brand Firefly to €115,580 ($134,600) for the flagship SUV of the Nio brand.
Last year, the brand opened a battery swap station in Belgium, its first in a market where the brand’s vehicles were not yet available.
The company currently operates 60 swap stations across six European countries, allowing customers to swap the vehicle’s battery for a fully charged one in about 3 minutes.
Nio‘s partner for the Belgian market said that the models will arrive on September 20 at locations in Antwerp, Brussels and Maldegem, with Ghent and Luxembourg to follow in early 2026.
The lineup will include four Nio models and the Firefly vehicle.
Prices, including VAT, start at €62,530 ($72,800) for the Nio ET5 sedan and its station wagon variant ET5 Touring.
The entry-level SUV EL6 starts at €67,610 ($78,700) while the flagship sport utility vehicle EL8 (second generation) is priced from €115,580 — equivalent to $134,600.
Firefly, the debut model of Nio’s second sub-brand, will be priced from €29,990 — equivalent to $34,900.
At launch, 100 “First Editions” of the ET5 Touring and 100 of the EL6 will be offered, the distributor announced.
These will come equipped with a 100 kWh battery, Comfort Package and upgraded wheels, priced at €69,995 and €75,995 respectively.
As reported by EV, Nio and Firefly were formally presented to the press in Brussels last week.
The group first disclosed in June that it would enter Belgium and Luxembourg, naming Hedin Automotive as its exclusive distributor.
Hedin currently represents 15 car brands in the region and will handle distribution, vehicle sales, aftermarket services and spare parts for both Nio and Firefly.
Firefly, Nio’s entry-level marque, debuted its compact electric car in Europe earlier this month with deliveries in the Netherlands and Norway.
Registration data and company photos show six cars were handed over in the Netherlands and one in Norway on August 14.
Nio’s family-focused sub-brand Onvo, launched in 2024, has not yet been confirmed for sales in Europe.
The company, led by founder and CEO William Li, will report its second-quarter earnings on September 2 before US markets open.
