Lucid Slashes Up to $31,500 From 2025 Air Sedan to Ramp Up Demand

Lucid Motors is offering discounts of up to $31,500 on select 2025 Air models in June, marking its most aggressive promotional campaign to date as it seeks to boost deliveries before the end of the second quarter.

The highest total savings apply to the 2025 Lucid Air Grand Touring, which is eligible for a combined incentive package that includes a $20,000 Air Credit, a $7,500 EV Credit, a $2,000 On-Site bonus for inventory units, and a $2,000 Conquest bonus.

The lease for this trim starts at $849 per month for 36 months, with $6,819 due at signing.

Last week, the House passed President Trump’s tax bill, moving the proposal to eliminate the $7,500 federal EV tax credit one step closer to becoming law.

The bill now heads to the Senate and, if approved, the EV credit will officially expire on the last day of the year.

Lucid has recently suspended the option to configure new Air sedans on its website and is now directing potential buyers to browse its available inventory of new, demo, and pre-owned vehicles instead.

Lucid is also offering $26,500 in combined incentives on the Air Touring and $21,500 on the base Air Pure, with respective lease rates starting at $539 and $519 per month.

All offers require delivery by the last day of June as the EV maker aims to ramp up demand before the end of the second quarter.

The discounts were published on the company’s website as part of its monthly incentive program update.

Without the On-Site and Conquest bonuses, lease prices increase to $579 per month for the Pure trim, which includes $17,500 in Air and EV credits and $5,579 due at signing, according to the company’s website.

The offers are available only to U.S. residents and apply to inventory vehicles taken from eligible Lucid Studio locations.

The $2,000 Conquest bonus is available to customers currently owning or leasing a competing internal combustion or hybrid vehicle, with proof of ownership required.

The offer is limited to owners of 24 premium and luxury brands, including Audi, Mercedes, and Porsche.

The 2025 Air Grand Touring starts at $110,900 while the Air Pure starts at $69,900.

The company had offered smaller discounts in May, with incentives of $15,500 on the Grand Touring and up to $20,500 and $18,000 on the Touring and Pure models, respectively.

As the company did not announce the change, it remains unclear as of the time of writing wether it is due to clear inventory, a 2026 refresh for the Air model, supply chain bottleneck, or focusing its Arizona plant on Gravity production.

In April, Lucid registered 820 vehicles in the U.S. in April, including just five units of the Gravity SUV as it continues its production ramp-up.

May registration figures by Motor Intelligence are planned to be released on Tuesday.
