Envoy, a subsidiary of EV charging company Blink Charging, announced Friday it is adding Lucid Air vehicles to its car-sharing programs, starting with installations at three luxury properties in California.
Prices for the Lucid Air Grand Touring start at $699 per month for 12 month terms, plus additional revenue share for qualifying properties.
The launch has commenced in Santa Clara and Downtown Los Angeles, where residents will have access to Lucid’s debut model, the luxury sedan Air. The specific number of vehicles was not provided.
Vehicles can be booked through the app by the minute, hour, or day, and residents can charge them at dedicated on-site charging stations at no extra cost.
“We look forward to working with similarly resident-friendly properties, where our full turnkey private car share service can provide cars from our fleet of beautiful new Lucid Airs for 12-month terms,” Envoy co-founder Aric Ohana stated.
“Envoy can offer properties a brand-new Lucid Air Grand Touring for as low as $699 per month, plus additional revenue share for qualifying properties,” he added.
Lucid Motors sold 587 vehicles in the United States in September, according to sales estimations from Motor Intelligence. For August, the firm estimated 660 units.
The company is expected to announce its global delivery figures for the third quarter over the next few days as it aims to produce 9,000 units this year.
Lucid, which is preparing to start deliveries of the second model of Gravity late this year, has recently reaffirmed the annual production guidance of 9,000 vehicles.
With 1,728 vehicles produced in the first quarter and 2,110 vehicles in the second one, the California-based EV maker expects to produce 5,162 vehicles in the second half of the year.
