XPeng Weekly Sales Rebound Ahead of 2025 P7 Unveil

XPeng‘s weekly sales rebounded to 8,400 units in the final full week of July, as the company aims to extend its streak of monthly deliveries above 30,000 units to a ninth consecutive month.

The company, founded and led by He Xiaopeng, recorded 6,450 insurance registrations in the first week of July, followed by 5,820 and 6,700 units in the subsequent two weeks, respectively.

Its all-time high was recorded in the final week of June, when the company registered 11,200 vehicles amid a typical end-of-quarter sales push.

Last week, the brand delivered its first vehicle assembled outside China, marking the opening of its plant in Indonesia.

The company launched this month the G7 SUV in China with a starting price of 195,800 yuan ($27,300), with deliveries starting in the following days.

Earlier this Tuesday, the brand’s humanoid robot IRON delivered vehicles to customers, according to a video shared by the Guangzhou-headquartered carmaker.

An earlier video showed the Tesla Optimus rival introducing an EV to users, while also serving water and opening car doors for them.

XPeng is now gearing up to launch the revamped sedan P7. The model has been spotted this week being shipped to showrooms across China as the debut nears.

The P7 model is expected to support both urban and highway Navigate on Pilot (NGP) functions along with other driver assistance features. It is offered in a single-motor version with 270 kW of power, as well as a dual-motor all-wheel-drive variant combining a 167 kW front motor with a 270 kW rear motor.
