Deutsche Bank released on Wednesday its monthly delivery estimates for Tesla, BYD, Xiaomi, Nio, Li Auto, and XPeng.
The bank’s analyst Wang Bin expects the Guangzhou-based brand to deliver 35,000 vehicles, including 31,000 domestic units and 4,000 outside China.
The figures would represent a slight increase of about 400 units compared with the 34,611 vehicles delivered in June, the eighth consecutive month where the brand delivered over 30,000 units.
XPeng has already surpassed its full-year 2024 delivery total in the first half of 2025, largely driven by sales of its entry-level Mona M03 sedan.
New orders in July are estimated at 45,000 units, up 10% from June, led by the G7 SUV — which faces Xiaomi’s SUV YU7 as its main rival.
The company said earlier on Wednesday it will unveil a refreshed version of its P7 sedan on August 6, as it continues to update its product lineup and prepares to introduce hybrid variants of select models.
Weekly insurance data showed 8,400 registrations in the final week of July, signaling a rebound in momentum and placing XPeng on track to achieve more than 30,000 deliveries for a ninth consecutive month.
The company rolled out its first-ever vehicle assembled outside China last week. The X9 MPV was delivered to the first customers in Indonesia.
In mid-July, a camouflaged XPeng G6 fitted with a range extender was spotted refueling at a gas station in China, signaling the company’s plans to broaden its dual powertrain offering across additional models.
Deutsche Bank also issued projections for other EV makers. Tesla is expected to deliver 42,300 vehicles in China in July, down 31% month-on-month and 10% year-on-year.
Nio Group is estimated to deliver around 21,000 units, down 16% from June but up 2% from a year earlier, when only the core Nio brand was delivering vehicles.
Li Auto is projected to deliver 32,000 units, a 12% monthly decline and a drop of more than 30% from July 2024. Xiaomi is expected to deliver 30,000 vehicles, up 18% month-on-month and 120% year-on-year.
