Tesla posted late Wednesday an update to its AI roadmap revealing that it expects to launch its Full Self Driving (FSD) software both in Europe and China in the first quarter of next year.
In a post on social media platform X, the company said the confirmation of the rollout is still pending regulatory approval. Tesla shares are trading 2 per cent higher on Thursday following the news.
Elon Musk commented on Tesla’s post by saying that Right Hand Drive markets will follow in late first quarter or early second quarter.
“Hopefully, RHD markets in late Q1, early Q2, pending regulatory approval,” Musk wrote.

After releasing the Actually Smart Summon feature earlier this week, Tesla will release FSD for the Cybertruck vehicles later this month with the FSD V12 following in October for all Tesla vehicles.
The new update improves the miles between necessary interventions by approximately six times, according to the company led by Elon Musk.
