Nio launched today 9 Battery Swap Stations plus another 7 SuperCharging Stations in China

Nio announced today the launch of 9 new Battery Swap Stations in China reaching the 814 in total. The Chinese EV maker also launched another 7 SuperCharging Stations in China.

Among the many Swap stations launched today, Nio enhanced the launch of four stations in Wenzhou. The 809th-810th G15 Shenhai Expressway Cangnan Service Area two-way stations, and 811st Shenhai Expressway Qingjiang Service Area two-way stations were launched simultaneously.

So far, the G15 Shenhai Expressway Zhejiang section of the high-speed power exchange network has been officially launched. One south and one north run through the core expressway section of southern Zhejiang, which is the moment that users in southern Zhejiang have been looking forward to.

Last week, Nio officially opened its first European Battery Swap Station, located in Norway – the first European Country for the Chinese EV maker. By the end of 2022, Nio will have Stations in five different Norwegian cities, with a total of 20 for the Norwegian customers.

Last week, the company also announced a partnership with the Swedish furniture retailer Ikea saying that they will build more stations on IKEA stores around China.

“The launch of the station is only the first step of the partnership, and more stations will appear in IKEA malls.”

“In the past 33 days, 100 new stations have been added, an average of 3 stations per day, thanks to the trust and support of our customers”. – Nio added.

IKEA is a world-renowned furniture and home furnishing retailer from Sweden. The cooperation between the two sides will also further promote green and sustainable development and bring an additional guardian.

As of January 25th, Nio has 814 Battery Swap Stations, 654 supercharging stations, 647 destination charging stations, and access to 460,000+ third-party charging piles nationwide. The Chinese EV maker is in a good pace towards the 1,300 Battery Swap Stations goal by the year end.

Recently, through a Press Release, NIO asked overseas Landowners to “Become a part of our journey” and help the company spread NIO Power Stations in Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Germany, and the Netherlands.

NIO closed 2021 with 777 Stations – being 11% above the update goal established last July of 700. The annual objective was reached three weeks before the year-end.

Yesterday, Nio enthusiast Adam Lin, caught the ES6 Model on the Interstate 880 which is a north–south auxiliary Interstate Highway in the San Francisco Bay Area of Northern California.
