According to our local source, NIO has currently a 6 months waiting list for their ET7 Model, the sedan unveiled on January 2021, during NIO Day. The source was in direct contact with NIO Sales Department and was told that the currently expected waiting time for the model is 6 months. The timeframe given by NIO indicates that EV enthusiasts living in China that still didn’t place an order for the sedan will have to wait until September to receive the car. The company started the test-drives on March 5th and will begin delivering the model next week, on March 28th.

The strong demand has led some Pre-Orders owners to sell its “advantage” on Xianyu, a Chinese E-Commerce Platform. As of today, there are around 15 listings on the platform and the prices to get the advantage and receive the ET7 Model between September vary from 3,500 — 15,000 RMB, $550 USD and $2,300 USD. On March 18th, the first NIO ET7 Model rolled off the production at the Heifei factory, in Anhui province. “Hefei vehicle trial production center was completed, and the first vehicle ceremony was held” — can be read on the image

Recently, thousands of vehicles were seen parked outside of NIO’s Hefei Factory, in China. The company has been keeping the secrets indoors without unveiling pre-orders numbers, test-drives scheduled, or other relevant numbers and JACxNIO Factory is not an exception. Due to the early stage of production of the NIO ET7 model, the majority of the units are ES8, ES6, and EC6s models. The company will deliver the first units of NIO ET7 in China on March 28th arriving at the European Markets later this year.

The company will report its fourth quarter and full year 2021 unaudited financial results on Thursday, March 24, 2022, after the close of the U.S. markets. The Company’s management will host an earnings conference call at 9:00 PM U.S. Eastern Time on March 24, 2022 (9:00 AM Beijing/Hong Kong Time on March 25, 2022). A live and archived webcast of the conference call will be available on the Company’s investor relations website at https://ir.nio.com/news-events/events.

NIO announced on March 1st that delivered 6,131 vehicles during last month. February deliveries are often affected by the Chinese Spring Festival Hollidays where the factories usually close from January 31st to February 6th.
