Mullen keeps hiring in the midst of preparing for mass production of its FIVE model

Mullen Automotive posted on Friday a new job vacancy for a Senior Program Manager to be responsible for the management of timelines “from concept to launch and coordinate with cross-functional teams to establish targets and deliverables”.

Alongside this position, the California-based company is also “urgently hiring” a Director of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)/Autonomous Driving, a Homologation Engineer, a Lead Packaging Engineer, and a Principle Vehicle Systems Architect.

In total, Mullen Automotive has 7 vacancies open on Indeed seeking to hire a Principle Vehicle Systems Architect, a Facility Design Engineer, a Director of ADAS/Autonomous Driving, a Director of Vehicle Integration, a Homologation Engineer, and a Lead Packaging Engineer.

For the senior Program Manager, the company says the candidate will be “responsible for program planning from design to product launch. The qualified candidate will work with cross-functional teams in setting deadlines and milestones while assisting in developing necessary processes to support product development execution,” Mullen wrote.

“The PMO team is responsible for on-time (schedule), on-cost (budgets), and on-spec (vehicle features) and manages cross-functional team deliverables. The qualified candidate will have experience in project management, change and release management, and PLM systems.

On Thursday, the EV maker issued a letter to its shareholders enhancing some of the latest updates but also further details about the previously announced deal with an F500 company. Mullen said that the Fortune 500 company is “a telecommunications provider in the Southeastern part of the U.S”.

The company that fulfills these requirements is Lumen Technologies, an American telecommunications company headquartered in Monroe, LA, and is a member of the Fortune 500 company. Mullen will officially announce the deal with the Fortune 500 company in the upcoming days, before the end of the second quarter.

“We plan on announcing that it is a very large company that is going to buy a lot of these vehicles. We feel that we have a great product that is going to be very competitive”, Michery added on March 30.

Recently, the company filed a form with SEC inviting shareholders for its Annual Meeting to be held at Nasdaq Building in New York on July 26. Among the themes to discuss in the meeting, the shareholders will vote to approve the increase of the aggregate number of authorized shares to 2,250,000,000 shares.
