Lucid Motors registered two vehicles in the Netherlands in October, data from the Dutch association BOVAG showed. In September, the company had recorded 7 units of its debut model, the Lucid Air.
Over the first ten months of 2024, Lucid registered 40 vehicles in the Dutch market, an increase from 24 units during the same period in 2023.
In December 2022, Lucid opened a 2,232-square-meter service, delivery, and sales center in Hilversum, Netherlands—the company’s first such facility in Europe. The center is located outside Amsterdam, where Lucid has its European headquarters.
The entry-level Lucid Air Pure starts at €88,000 ($95,760) in the Netherlands, while the higher-end Grand Touring variant is priced from €132,900 ($144,600).
The company, led by CEO Peter Rawlinson, announced last week it would open U.S. orders for its second model, the Lucid Gravity SUV, on November 7. However, production for the first year will focus exclusively on the high-end Grand Touring variant, priced from $94,900.
Details on European availability, including potential order openings in markets like the Netherlands, are anticipated on November 7, either alongside the U.S. launch or during the company’s third-quarter earnings call later that day.
Lucid recently expanded its European sales network, adding showrooms in Hamburg and Frankfurt to bring its total number of locations across the region to eight. Currently, Lucid operates in four European countries: Switzerland, Germany, Norway, and the Netherlands.

The company aims to produce 9,000 vehicles in 2024, with primary sales targets in North America and the Middle East. European sales continue to represent a minor portion of Lucid’s overall volume.
