According to a Lucid spokesperson, the EV maker is arriving Europe as soon as June or July with its Air Sedan. Autocar said on Monday, citing a spokesman, that Lucid Motors will begin “exporting cars to European and Middle Eastern buyers this June or July and to China in 2023”. The same source confirmed Germany as the entrance country followed by the ones where electric vehicles are most popular like Norway, The Netherlands or Denmark.

The company will inaugurate its first European showroom in Germany in May amid global expansion. The confirmation was made through a billboard placed on Terminal 2 in Munich (Germany) saying: “Visit our Lucid Studio in Munich. Opening May 2022.”

UK Market

“Yet to be confirmed is the UK market, but an insider working closely with Lucid has strongly hinted to us that right-hand drive has always been planned for the Air. If so, expect production to begin late this year and for the full Air line-up to be available to order for British buyers online towards the end of 2022 ahead of deliveries in 2023” — Autocar said.
