The first Lucid Gravity electric SUV to appear on the second-hand market was sold for $131,000 on Tuesday, according to auction site Cars & Bids.
The 2026 Gravity Dream Edition, the flagship trim of the lineup, drew 43 bids in total.
The auction saw 25 bids placed before the final day, with the highest at $125,000, before 18 additional bids in the closing hours pushed the final price up by $6,000.
The vehicle, finished in Aurora Green Metallic over a Tahoe Nappa leather interior, had just 200 miles on the odometer at the time of sale.
The Dream Edition was offered exclusively to reservation holders of the Grand Touring model, promoted as the highest-performance version of the SUV with exclusive finishes and tech-related features.
According to the listing, the seller acquired the Lucid model three months ago, in June.
However, he is selling it as he said he prefers his Rivian R1T — “really, it’s just the utility of the truck bed more than anything,” he stated.
With all the options included, the seller paid $141,550 for the three-row SUV.
The Gravity Dream Edition is powered by dual electric motors producing 1,070 horsepower and 909 pound-feet of torque, paired with a 123-kWh battery that delivers up to 378 miles (600 km) of EPA-estimated range.
On Saturday, Lucid included several Grand Touring configurations in its inventory — mostly five-seat variants priced from $96,550 before fees. They were listed as “available in two weeks” across multiple states.
By then, the EV maker said the move was driven by production dynamics, not weaker demand.
Expanding on the decision, Lucid‘s Head of Communications, Nick Twork, added in a separate post that customers could now skip the wait and purchase from a limited pool of immediately available vehicles.
However, twenty-four hours after the EV maker first posted units of the new three-row model for immediate delivery, all the units sold out.
Over the weekend, investors questioned on X and public forums the appearance of Gravity in Lucid’s online inventory, noting that the fulfillment of pre-orders remains ongoing.
On Monday, a drone flyover revealed more than 2,000 Lucid Gravity vehicles positioned across staging lots at the company’s Casa Grande, Arizona facility.
Following significant supply chain disruptions in the second quarter, which nearly led to a suspension of production, output of the Gravity SUV has increased in recent months.
The footage also depicted multiple Gravity units undergoing suspension, braking, and handling tests on the facility’s test track.
Lucid currently offers the Gravity Grand Touring in the US, which starts from $94,900. The Gravity Touring is expected to launch in its domestic market later this year.
