The first known example of Lucid Motors’ Gravity model has been listed on the second-hand market, appearing on the auction site ‘Cars and Bids’ with just 200 miles on the odometer.
The first unit in the second hand market appeared only months after Lucid began mass production of the model, which was first unveiled in late 2023 at the LA Auto Show.
The SUV in question is a 2026 Gravity Dream Edition, the flagship trim of the lineup, finished in Aurora Green Metallic over a Tahoe Nappa leather interior.
As of early Friday, the highest bid stood at $112,500 with 24 bids placed so far.
The figure is about $27,000 lower than the Gravity Dream Edition’s $139,900 MSRP.
The seller has acquired the Lucid model three months ago, in June.
With all the options included, the seller paid $141,550 for the three-row SUV.
According to the outlet AutoEvolution, the owner is selling it as he prefers the rival truck from the Irvine-based EV maker Rivian.
“I just prefer my [Rivian] R1T. And really, it’s just the utility of the truck bed more than anything,” he stated.
The Dream Edition was offered exclusively to reservation holders of the Grand Touring model, promoted as the highest-performance version of the SUV with exclusive finishes and tech-related features.
The Comfort and Convenience Package includes power rear side window shades, soft-close doors, a rear center console display, a heated steering wheel, and heated outboard second-row seats.
The Dynamic Handling Package adds rear-wheel steering, triple-chamber air suspension, and titanium-painted brake calipers.
The Technology Package brings an augmented reality head-up display, dynamic ambient lighting, an occupant monitoring camera, and three 120V AC power outlets.
The Luxury Seating Package upgrades the interior with Nappa leather upholstery, power-adjustable massage and ventilated front seats, seatback tray tables, and a microsuede headliner.
The Surreal Sound Pro audio system provides 22 speakers with spatial and Dolby audio capability. Completing the package are 22-inch front and 23-inch rear wheels, a panoramic glass canopy roof, and a third-row seating layout.
Underneath, the Gravity Dream Edition is powered by dual electric motors producing 1,070 horsepower and 909 pound-feet of torque, paired with a 123-kWh battery that delivers up to 378 miles of EPA-estimated range.
Earlier this week, Lucid emailed customers announcing a new software update for their Gravity SUV.
The version 3.3.1 fixes previously flagged issues with the key fob while introducing new features within Lucid Halo Secure, a security feature meant to monitor and record incidents around the vehicle (similar to Tesla’s Sentry Mode).
According to the release notes, users can now experience Live View and Drive Recorder in beta versions.
Lucid currently offers the Gravity Grand Touring in the US, which starts from $94,900.
The Gravity Touring is expected to launch in its domestic market later this year.
The Touring variant starts at $81,550, including shipping, making it the cheapest version of the three-row SUV.
