Zeekr rolled its 200,000th 7X off the line at its Ningbo Meishan plant on Tuesday, nearly two years after the electric SUV entered production, the Geely brand said.
The 7X is Zeekr’s best selling model this year, at 62,865 global deliveries in the first seven months of 2026, or 29.35% of the brand’s total, though the 001 and 007 GT shooting-brake family is larger over the brand’s life.
It reached the mark two weeks after global orders passed 200,000 on August 24, with the 200,000th order placed in Mexico, and five days after Zeekr announced a 2027 model year for the fourth quarter.
The production figure is not a sales figure.
Cumulative deliveries approached 180,000 by the end of July, and global monthly deliveries were back above 10,000 in July and, on Zeekr’s account, in August.
What the Numbers Show
The 7X’s year has been carried outside the home market.
Of the 62,865 delivered from January to July, 34,440 were registered in mainland China, according to insurance data, leaving a residual of 28,425, or 45%, made up of exports, Hong Kong sales and cars delivered but not yet registered.
In April, May and June Chinese registrations fell to between 3,300 and 4,000 a month, from a 5,000-to-7,000 run rate through 2025, while global deliveries held between 7,300 and 7,900.
Registrations rebounded to 6,415 in July as global deliveries returned to 10,253, and Zeekr says the model stayed above 10,000 worldwide in August.
Lifetime, China accounts for about three-quarters of the 7X’s deliveries, some 136,000 of 180,000, and markets outside the mainland for a quarter.
At home the model has been overtaken.
Chinese registrations through July put the 9X super-hybrid first at 49,134 and the 7X second at 34,440.
In June the 007 GT shooting brake and the 8X both outsold it, and in July the 007 GT did, at 7,691 against 6,415.
The Car and the Next One
Zeekr launched the 7X in China on September 20, 2024, from 229,900 yuan, as its second mainstream model after the 007 sedan on Geely’s SEA architecture, and delivered 10,000 within 25 days.
The brand sold 11,643 units in China in October 2024, 46.5% of Zeekr’s sales that month, a launch peak it has not repeated.
A refreshed version arrived on October 28, 2025 on a 900-volt architecture, with LiDAR and Nvidia’s 700 TOPS Drive Thor-U chip standard across the range.
It is sold in three versions, the 75 kWh rear-drive Max at 229,800 yuan, the 103 kWh rear-drive Max at 249,800 and the 103 kWh all-wheel-drive Ultra at 269,800.
The top dual-motor version produces 585 kW and reaches 100 km/h in 2.98 seconds, and the 103 kWh CATL Qilin option is rated at 802 km CLTC with 10% to 80% charging in 10 minutes.
The 75 kWh LFP entry battery is rated at 620 km.
Zeekr announced the 2027 model year on September 3 for launch in the fourth quarter: the exterior styling is unchanged, new exterior and interior colours arrive, and an 85 kWh Aegis LFP version is added, with range, prices and delivery timing to be given at launch.
The company did not say the 75 kWh version is withdrawn.
Until the new car arrives, buyers of the current generation choose between five-year interest-free finance, a 10,000-yuan reduction on the final payment or a gift package.
Where It Sells Abroad
The 7X is offered in more than 50 countries and regions, a footprint Zeekr says it reached within 15 months of starting European exports in May 2025.
European pre-sales had opened on December 16, 2024 at €52,990 in the Netherlands, in three trims, though the Dutch register stands at about 1,500 cars lifetime.
Australia has been the larger market: deliveries began in October 2025, passed 5,000 in under eight months, and reached 3,664 in the first five months of 2026, fifth among all fully electric cars there and second to the Model Y among premium mid-size SUVs.
Zeekr claims segment leads in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Egypt and Mexico, where it says the 7X was the best-selling luxury battery-electric C-SUV from January to July, and says South Korean pre-sale orders passed 1,000 in the first month with 94% on mid and high trims.
The Brand
Zeekr delivered 36,981 vehicles in August, up 109.8% from a year earlier and 3.2% from July, a fifth consecutive monthly record.
The eight-month total is about 251,000, up 100.4%, and cumulative deliveries since October 2021 are about 894,000.
The 7X, the shooting brakes and the 009 are the export models, and the 9X entered the Middle East in August with a UAE pre-sale ahead of European deliveries Zeekr has scheduled for late December.
