Fisker Founder and CEO Henrik Fisker is set to participate in the Economic Times Auto Tech Summit on June 20-21.
Over recent months, the chief executive has remained silent amid the company’s critical financial situation as it seeks further investment to avoid bankruptcy.
The 5th edition of the summit will be held at the Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel and will cover topics such as software, new manufacturing technologies, cockpit innovations, and sustainable tech.

The Economic Times, India’s largest business media house, has launched ETAuto.com, providing in-depth news, views, analysis, and global trends in the automotive industry.
On Tuesday, Fisker announced on Instagram a new dealer partner in Denmark, expanding its sales network to sell the remaining inventory of its first model, Ocean.
Last week, the company reported that it is also adding three new dealership locations in the U.S. of which two are in California (Newport in Orange County and San Jose) and one in New Jersey.
With this addition, Fisker reaches a total of 15 dealers in the US.
Last Sunday, the company sent an email to its U.S. customers, informing them of the discontinuation of the roadside assistance service. This decision mirrors the earlier announcement to halt the service in Europe earlier this month.
By then, Fisker encouraged owners in Europe to “explore the coverage options through the auto insurance provider and/or auto club membership”.
Roadside Assistance was a “limited and supplemental benefit” offered to Fisker owners for 6 years or 60,000 miles / 100,000 km, starting from the date of purchase of a new vehicle.
In a new review of Fisker‘s inaugural production model, the SUV Ocean, TopGear’s Ollie Marriage affirmed on Friday that the car is “arguably better built,” “easier to use,” and offers a “more luxurious” interior compared to the Tesla Model Y.
However, Marriage warned that the startup led by Henrik Fisker is “on a financial knife edge, and might not be here next year/month/week”.
On Friday, Fisker revealed the inclusion of Beka Auto, a dealer partnership situated in the Danish town of Sønderborg, into its network.
Earlier in the week, Fisker announced it sold out all the inventory units from the Sport trim of its first model, the SUV Ocean, in the US.
Fisker stated in a new SEC filing one week ago that it couldn’t complete its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the first quarter by May 10.
The EV startup stated that the “management identified certain material weaknesses, including that the Company did not design and maintain an effective control environment commensurate with its financial reporting requirements”.
Fisker added that is “unable to provide an estimate” for the timing of the filing.
