The EV maker Fisker announced on Wednesday the Project Ronin, an innovative, high-tech electric GT sports car, which will come with a long charge range and high performance. The company plans to reveal Project Ronin in August 2023, with production starting in the second half of 2024.

“The aim is to achieve the world’s longest range for a production EV, combined with extremely high levels of performance,” CEO Henrik Fisker said. “Project Ronin will be a showcase for our internal engineering, powertrain, and software capabilities.”
Mr. Fisker told his engineering team to use the most advanced, lightweight materials and focus on range, performance, and overall driving experience.
The GT will feature unique doors for better ingress and egress and a luxurious, sustainable vegan interior that plots a new, advanced design direction.
Last week, Henrik Fisker deleted his Twitter account shortly after the company confirmed the deal with Elon Musk. Before deleting his profile, Henrik tweeted: “Please follow me on IG (Instagram) from now on if you want any updates. Thanks.”
On Tuesday, Henrik spoke about it for the first time saying he doesn’t want his free speech “to be actively managed or controlled by a competitor” referring to Tesla’s CEO, Elon Musk. The ex-Tesla employee also mentioned that Musk would be able to “determine how the followers experience” the company.
