Electric vehicle startup Fisker announced on Monday that its second dealer partner in the United Kingdom has now received . Fisker shares closed 6.36 percent lower on Monday at $0.0515.
In its annual report filed earlier this year, Fisker said it was “selecting its dealers based upon multiple criteria, including a dealer’s ability to deliver a high level of customer satisfaction”.
EV Experts, a dealership with two locations in the Southwest of England, has not yet listed any units on its website. However, it is anticipated that Fisker‘s electric SUV will be available listied in the coming days.
“We’re thrilled to announce the arrival of the Fisker Ocean at our second dealer partner in the UK, EV Electrics with locations in Guildford, Surrey and Hook, Hampshire,” the company wrote on Instagram.

Fisker added that EV Experts will provide test drives to potential customers after adding the model to its inventory that includes electric models from Tesla, Polestar, BMW, Volkswagen, or Kia.

Fisker, which has been drastically reducing its workforce while trying to escape from bankruptcy, attended last weekend the Electrify Expo in California providing test drives to the attendees.
The company’s chief executive Henrik Fisker is set to participate in the Economic Times Auto Tech Summit later this month breaking months of silence amid Fisker‘s critical financial situation.
In an email sent last Friday to all its customers in Belgium, the electric vehicle brand Fisker announced that its Fisker Center+ in Rumst would close from this Saturday, the first of June.
Despite closing the store located just outside the Belgian city of Antwerp, the company said it remains tenant of the location and that is “actively seeking solutions to reopen the facility” while it negotiates a buyout deal since last month.
A few hours after announcing to U.S. employees about a major workforce reduction on Thursday, the electric vehicle startup Fisker extended the downsizing to its Canadian operations leaving the company with a skeletal crew as it navigates through turbulent times.

Last Sunday, the company sent an email to its U.S. customers, informing them of the discontinuation of the roadside assistance service. This decision mirrors the earlier announcement to halt the service in Europe earlier this month.
In West Covina, California, where Fisker has dealership partners, around 40 units of the fully electric SUV, available in both Extreme and Ultra variants and starting at $34,999, are currently on display.
This strategy, which significantly lowers operating expenses, requires customers to search for available inventory in states where Fisker has partnered with dealerships.
Last week, Fisker announced a new dealer partner in Denmark, expanding its sales network in Europe while in the U.S. the company added three new dealership locations reaching a total of 15 in the country.
