Audi to unveil an electric and autonomous concept in early 2023

The German automaker Audi posted the first tease of the upcoming Activesphere Concept EV, the company’s fourth model in the Sphere concept family. The Activesphere will follow the already introduced Audi skyphere, grandsphere and urbansphere concepts.

From 2026, Audi will launch only new pure EV models although it will stop the production of its ICE models only in 2033 while aiming to achieve net-zero emissions “by 2050 at the latest”.

The automaker added that the model will offer “maximum variability for an active lifestyle on and off-road” and the that the other three concepts from the sphere family will be for the first time together during Monterey Car Week in California in August 2022.

“Take a first glimpse at the fourth member in Audi’s sphere family: The electric and autonomous Audi activesphere concept. Debuting in early 2023, the concept car offers maximum variability for an active lifestyle – on and off-road,” Audi tweeted.
