Chinese automaker XPeng saw its sales in the Dutch market reach a new record in 2025 with 1,402 electric vehicles (EVs) registered, official data from the national association BOVAG showed.
The Guangzhou-based company sold 345 vehicles in the final month of the year, achieving its strongest month ever and surpassing 300 units in a single month for the first time.
XPeng‘s figures in December represented a 49% jump as the brand prepares to increase its line-up across its European markets later this year.
2025 Performance in the Dutch Market
The company founded and led by He Xiaopeng had listed 1,299 cars in 2024, with registrations rising 7.9% in 2025 to 1,402 EVs.
Last year, XPeng sold 294 units of its five-seat SUV G6, whereas the flagship G9 model accounted for 46 of the cars listed. Additionally, there were 5 registrations of P7 vehicles.
In the Dutch market, the G6 model starts at €41,990 ($49,o63), while G9 is available from €57.990 ($67,739).
New Models
XPeng will launch five new car models in Europe this year, including a new SUV under the MONA Series, its MPV model X9 and a sedan.
The first batch of the Mona SUV will arrive in the Old Continent later this year, as announced by Xiaopeng, last September.
Meanwhile, up until the end of 2025, XPeng still sold an early version of the P7 sedan, for which a new version has been unveiled in China.
Despite that, the brand still sells the previous iteration across several European markets, including the Netherlands.
The new version made its European debut in September, at the IAA Auto Show in Munich.
On January 8th, the brand will globally launch the refreshed iteration of its P7+ across 36 countries simultaneously.
The prices for this model for the European markets will be disclosed during the Brussels Auto Show on January 9.
Brand’s Global 2025 Performance
XPeng delivered 37,508 vehicles globally in December 2025, representing a year-over-year increase of 2%.
As for the full 2025 year, there were a total of 429,445 deliveries – a staggering 126% rise compared to 2024.
Outside China, the company sold 45,008 vehicles last year, up 96% year-over-year, thus nearly doubling.
By year-end, XPeng was able to expand its presence to 60 countries and regions — meeting the target it had set a year ago.
Dutch EV Adoption in 2025
Throughout last year, there were 388,024 new car registrations in the Netherlands, 156,139 of which were fully electric vehicles.
Therefore, the market share for EVs grew more than 16%, from 34.6% in 2024 to 40.2% in 2025.
Leading Dutch car registrations were the hybrid vehicles, which accounted for 175,779 units.
