XPeng‘s new car sales in Norway soared 338.9% year over year to 316 vehicles in May, data from the Norwegian Road Federation (OFV) showed on Monday.
The figures represent a slight decline of 5.1% from April, when the brand recorded 333 units, setting a new record since it entered Norway in 2021.
The Guangzhou-based EV maker registered 1,321 vehicles in Norway between January and May. In May, XPeng was the fourteenth best-selling brand in the Scandinavian market.
From the total of 316 units, 174 were G6s — ranking as the 20th best-selling model in the market. The entry level SUV is priced from NOK 387,778, equivalent to around $37,400.
The brand’s lineup in the Nordic market also includes its G9 SUV and the P7 sedan, with prices beginning at NOK 510,084 ($49,200) and NOK 439,900 ($42,450), respectively.

The campaign also includes the Premium and Comfort packages on G9 purchases.
XPeng has unveiled refreshed versions of its G6, G9, and the P7 sedan, although no date has been set for international shipping of the new iterations.
The refreshed X9 multi-purpose van (MPV), which was globally launched last month and is already featured on European websites, will be launched in the second half of the year.
The brand held last month a nationwide test-drive tour of the MPV in Norway. However, it remains unknown when the company will open orders or start deliveries in the market.
